Something that is wack is something that really sucks. The reason behind a name that means 'really sucks', is because we want to call attention to everything that is “wack” in American social culture. WACK is the intersection of sociological exploration, honest artistic expression, and community collaboration. We create art collections that focus on a specific question or observation about the social life around us. Through an exploration of different art mediums and by pushing the boundaries of what it means to collaborate creatively, we believe it is our responsibility to be proactive in our participation in the culture we live in. 

 

WACK stands for We Are Changing Kulture. 

 

WACK is an art collective, and this spring is our second semester as an official student organization on campus. The club will create a space to elevate discussions about our shifting society to the creative level and encourage an art community that is passion-oriented.
